Best Kitchen & Dining Deals: Black Friday 2020

Whether you’re shopping for a loved one or just looking for inexpensive ways to upgrade your kitchen, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the surrounding days/weeks is a fantastic time to grab some sweet deals.

We started watching for the best deals (and rumored deals) early this year. Keep checking back as we update this page with our latest finds!

Here’s what we’re keeping an eye on this holiday season.

Instant Pot

Even though it’s been out a few years, the Instant Pot is still a hot holiday item. Expect to see sales on the various models at different times, with the biggest cuts likely to be on the Ultra and the Duo models.

The Instant Pot comes in several different models and a few sizes within each model. And, one of the brand’s latest products is a Sous Vide Immersion Circulator. The list price is very reasonable for an immersion circulator at under $80. No word on whether this will be on sale at all this season, but it’s worth checking out if you’re in the market for a sous vide machine!

Other Electric Pressure Cookers

Of course, the Instant Pot isn’t the only major player in the electric pressure cooker game. We anticipate sales on other brands, as well, so you’ll have a wider selection of multi-cookers to choose from. One model we almost guarantee will be on sale is our favorite one: the Cosori 6 Quart 8-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker. This popular product tends to go on sale fairly regularly, and those sale prices are hard to beat. Psst! You can read our full, hands-on review of the Cosori here.

We’ll update as we find out what’s actually going on sale, but for now feel free to review our full list of the best electric pressure cookers here.

Slow Cookers

While the Instant Pot and other multi-cookers and electric pressure cookers are likely to dominate the kitchen category, many cooks still love a plain ol’ slow cooker. And with tons of options available, there are sure to be some great deals. Keep an eye on the prices of our favorites, which we reviewed here.

Watch for sales on names like Hamilton Beach and Crock-Pot. Early deals are happening already on a variety of slow cookers, so it’s likely that we’ll see plenty of options through the holiday season. We’ll update the best ones here as we find them!

KitchenAid products (especially the stand mixer) are staples of holiday sales and gift giving. In the past few years, holiday shoppers have found fantastic prices on some of the top KitchenAid products, including stand mixers.

We’re anticipating low prices on the tilt-head Artisan models — the 4.5-quart and 5-quart — and the 5-quart lift-stand Professional model. In-store Black Friday prices are ranging around $200 off for the more expensive mixers, so watch for similar prices throughout the season online.

Other KitchenAid products we’re watching include:

Air Fryers

Air fryers are another one of those small appliances gaining popularity in recent years. Like the electric pressure cooker, it’s been around long enough that there are plenty of brands out there so you have a better chance of finding one that fits your budget.

There will likely be so.many.fryers on sale from now until the end of the holiday season, and we’ll be updating this page as we find the best deals on the best fryers. Check out our list of the best air fryers here. Here’s the current price on Amazon’s best selling model:

Coffee Machines

In addition to discounts on regular coffee machines, fancier devices (like those that froth milk, make espresso, and wash your car) will also be offered up at great prices this year. Nespresso and Keurig are two top brands that will definitely be worth checking out.

The Ninja Coffee Bars and Cuisinart Coffee Makers are making appearances in many of the in-store Black Friday ads, so those sales should also be reflected online this holiday season. We’ll update specific models on sale as we find them!

We’re crazy about cookware, so we’ll be tracking ALL of it this holiday season (full report coming soon!), but here are a few goodies to whet your whistle:

Rachel Ray Cookware: We’re expecting online sales on products similar to in-store sales, like the Cucina Hard Porcelain Enamel Nonstick Cookware Set and the Hard-Anodized Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set.

Ceramic Cookware: With its growing popularity, ceramic cookware is a sure bet for some Black Friday (and beyond) sales. Check out T-fal and Red Copper to get you started.

Stainless Steel Cookware: Stainless can be expensive, so sales are a welcome respite from higher prices. We’re anticipating holiday sales from some of our favorites, including Made In Cookware and Cuisinart.

If a blender is on your list — for gift-giving or for yourself — the holidays offer a great time to snag some top-rated machines. Vitamix is often on sale in stores like Costco, but can often be found at discounted prices online as well. We’re watching for markdowns on popular models, but you can also check out Certified Reconditioned blenders for a great price anytime.

Ninja blenders are a good bed for regular sales this year. Some expected sales include the following models:

If tiny is your thing, keep an eye on the Magic Bullet — it’s being offered as a Doorbuster for a lot of in-store sales, so we expect to see some good online sales as well.

Toasters & Toaster Ovens

It’s a sure bet that we’ll see plenty of toasters and toaster oven sales throughout the coming weeks. Names like Cuisinart and Black+Decker are known as some of the top brands for toasters and are likely to hold sales on some of their most popular models. As for toaster ovens, we’re keeping a close eye on our faves from Black+Decker, Breville, and Cuisinart. Stay tuned for updates!

Other Miscellany

In addition to the usual contenders, there are typically some fun and useful finds in dining, dishware, cutlery, decor, and more. Check back for our top picks as we get closer to the sales.
